Ergo Exergy begins work with Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd on the first εUCG project in New Zealand

Ergo Exergy begins co-operation with Solid Energy Ltd on development of commercial εUCG projects in New Zealand, commencing from a screening and scoping study to analyze coal and lignite deposits in New Zealand for application of εUCG technology. The total of over 14 billion tonnes of New Zealand's coal and lignite is to be considered, along with local infrastructure and markets. This will help to determine market opportunities for applying εUCG in the production of a range of value added products, including electricity and synthetic fuels. The results will enable definition and development of the first commercial εUCG project in New Zealand.
