Ergo Exergy commences the first stage of the PRB UCG project with Gastech Inc, Casper, WY, USA

Ergo Exergy has reached an agreement with Gastech Inc, based in Casper, Wyoming, to participate in the first commercial UCG development in the US. Project owner Gastech Inc has access to strategic coal resources in the Powder River Basin. The coal is not recoverable by conventional mining methods. Ergo Exergy is to determine whether the coal can be economically extracted by applying its proprietary εUCG™ technology. The project is targeting production of liquid synthetic fuels and synthetic natural gas.
