Ergo Exergy and Cougar Energy make Joint Presentation at Clean Coal Technologies Conference in Brisbane, Australia

Dr Michael Blinderman of Ergo Exergy Technologies Inc. (Canada) and Dr Len Walker of Cougar Energy Ltd. (Australia) today made a joint presentation at the Clean Coal Technologies Conference in Brisbane, Australia. The conference, hosted by the University of Queensland, Australia, in cooperation with the University of Wyoming, USA and the Wyoming and Queensland State Governments, focused on the case for cooperation between the two states, in the area of clean coal technology. Dr Blinderman highlighted the care required in planning, initiating and controlling UCG field operations with particular reference to the Chinchilla project and other specific aspects of Ergo Exergy’s εUCG™ technology. Dr Walker discussed some of the early interactions with Queensland Government Departments, which enabled the granting of approvals for the 1999 Chinchilla trial. Walker also outlined Cougar Energy’s plans for development of UCG projects in Kingaroy (Queensland) and Pakistan using Ergo Exergy’ εUCG™ technology.
