Laurus Energy and CIRI partner for εUCG™ project in Alaska using Ergo Exergy’s εUCG™ technology

Ergo Exergy’s North American technology licensee, Laurus Energy Incorporated, have signed a deal with CIRI (Cook Inlet Region Incorporated) to develop a UCG project in Alaska using Ergo Exergy’s εUCG™ technology. The project aims to achieve production of syngas via εUCG™, initially to generate 100MW of electricity with a Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT). The project will be designed and developed with the capability for carbon capture and storage. With the project located in an environmentally sensitive area, CIRI’s considered decision to partner with Ergo Exergy’s technology, further demonstrates Ergo Exergy’s world leading status in the field of UCG. Ergo Exergy is pleased to welcome the Alaskan project into its global portfolio of the most advanced commercial UCG development projects in the world.
