UCG Project: Abhijeet, India — AE Coal Technologies Ltd

Abhijeet Group has tied up with Ergo Exergy Technologies to develop εUCG™ projects in India. The two companies have executed commercial agreements for Ergo Exergy to provide its proprietary εUCG™ Technology for developments in India. The Coal Mining and Planning Development of India, an undertaking of Coal India Limited, has sought expressions of interest from companies seeking to perform UCG in the Kaitha coal block situated in Ramgarh District, India. Being the only Indian company with access to true commercial UCG technology and expertise, Abhijeet Group is making efforts to obtain the block for conducting its first εUCG™ development. The company aims to use syngas produced from the project for electricity generation as well as possibly liquid fuels and fertilizers.
